Robert Bonville was born immediately after the US entry into the war with Japan. Eldest son of a career Coast Guard Officer, Robert traveled to many duty stations with his family over his fathers career including Hawaii and Greece. After a short career in the Coast Guard himself, Robert went to college on the GI Bill and began as long and productive career with Honeywell Defense and Aerospace working on such critical projects as Undersea Missles for the Navy and Space Shuttle and Space Station programs for NASA. Robert is married to his wife Linda and live in a small town just south of Tucson Arizona. Between them they have four adult children, eight grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Robert is an active gardner, and an award winning Gourd artist. He enjoys gourmet cooking, contemporary jazz and researching and writing about the Polynesian people.
