Background
Information
Glenn Rogers was born in a tiny fishing village on the outskirts of Bombay, the only son of a humble dockworker and a small-town crooner. His formative years were marred by parental neglect and social ostracism.
At the age of 12, an accident claimed his father. Weeks later, his mother unceremoniously dispatched him to his paternal aunt whose family he served as an errand boy for more than a decade. In exchange for his services he received an education.
His entry into crusading journalism happened soon after formal schooling, where he is remembered for headlines such as Who will Police the Police and Murder or Suicide.
After more than a decade working for newspapers and magazines in India, he was offered his first overseas opportunity – an editorial position in Hong Kong.
In addition to financial reward, he gained experience dealing with a range of different cultures. Exposed for the first time to racism, his indomitable spirit held him together during friendless days. Eventually, his enterprising attitude won him the admiration of influential quarters in Hong Kong with whose support he started a publishing company of his own.
Over the short span of a decade, Mediazone Ltd. grew to rival the influence and revenue of companies many times its size in Hong Kong. Today, the boutique publisher offers a range of specialized services to some of the world’s most powerful individuals and corporations.
Mediazone’s corporate logo is the shepherd boy – a symbol of hope to the hopeless and a promise to lend a helping hand to those in need.
To this day, Rogers remains his flamboyant, spontaneous, and controversial self.
How To Sell Like Jesus was inspired by Rogers’ near-death experience and hospitalization. It is a humble reflection of his gratitude, love, and respect for Jesus who he believes saved his life.
