I attend Oregon College of Education for 3 plus years on scholarship, married and had 4 children, lived on remote ranches in Oregon, Montana, Wyoming and Washington.. In 1977 I divorced and became the owner/operator of a restaurant/bar, In 1981, I went to work for the State of Oregon and in 1984, transferred to the Oregon Department of Corrections, promoting through the ranks to Lieutenant, worked for 6 years as a blackjack and roulette dealer at a casino, retired from that in 2007 at, retiring in 2001. I then moved to a ranch in Idaho and gentle-broke mustangs for 2 years. I raised 4 children, on my own from 1977 until 1993 and my exposure to a very diverse group of personalities in my life and several personal tragedies gave me memories and stories that I felt the need to share. Most of my writings started in the Steens Mountains on a ranch, 103 miles to town and 29 miles to my nearest neighbor. I write poems, songs, eulogies and special request awards for athletes.
