I was born in May of 1962, in El Centro, CA.  It is in the Imperial Valley about 2 hours east of San Diego.  I started writing while in elementary school.  I think I have always had a passion for writing but never had the confidence in myself, because I never showed my stories to anyone.  The biggest major influence in my life is Jesus Christ.  He gave me the gift of words, though, I do tend to stick my foot in my mouth, which is what my first book is about.  Other influences in writing are Karen Kingsbury, Stephen King, Dean Koontz, and many other writers past and present.  Another influence is Lucille Ball and Carol Burnett.  Two things I love the most is sharing the gospel and making people laugh.  Then of course, there is a little, drama and mystery in me, and I sometime like a good scare.  I believe there are many facets of life, whether it be, laughter, sorrow, intrigue or fear.  We have to laugh at life, or it may kill us.  There will always be sorrow in life that we have to face.  Then there is intrigue all around us, and we also must face our fears.  And how do we accomplish all this?  By trusting in Jesus. 

I published my first book "I Never Loved Dogs Until I Met My Husband" in 2012.
