I was born in May of 1962, in El Centro, CA. It is in the Imperial Valley about 2 hours east of San Diego. I started writing while in elementary school. I think I have always had a passion for writing but never had the confidence in myself, because I never showed my stories to anyone. The biggest major influence in my life is Jesus Christ. He gave me the gift of words, though, I do tend to stick my foot in my mouth, which is what my first book is about.
