Donna Lagone lives in Upstate New York in the historic district "The Stockade" located in the city of Schenectady. Her home built in 1741 thru' 1841, she finds inspiring. Newly retired, living with her beloved husband, six spoiled cats feral no more, and an exuberant Pug named Pippa. She feels now is the time to put pen to parchment, writing the stories that swirl through her head at any given moment. Donna's career as a Substance Abuse Counselor and Outreach Specialist has taken her from the deserts of our own Southwest, to the vast Prairies of the Heartlands and into the bayous of Louisiana. Next home to the prisons and inner cities of her beloved New York State. She has contributed her experiences professionally to "The Incarcerated Youth Publications" .Donna has read her Essays titled "Old House" on public radio and has had two short stories published in an Anthology funded by "National Endowments of the Arts". "Reflection is her first novel.  Donna's viewpoint on life is "Let's get on with it".
