Reading and writing are private destinations and for me are another dimension of my life and consciousness. When I write I inhabit the world that I create! I go there, I experience my characters feelings and motivations. I find this state of being to be liberating. The opportunity to self publish books has allowed me to share my imaginings with readers without restrictions...pretty awesome! When I was younger, 30 years ago, I wrote my first book and was so stymied by my one experience with a literary agent that I threw the book in a drawer and stopped writing! Now I realize that  I was a being a big chicken... I never thought that this agent might be a poor match for my work...I just stopped. Self publishing has broken down the wall, now if a reader buys my books on Amazon...I am thrilled , elated and motivated to continue to write and share my creations.  I write and I feel great about adding to the choices that readers are able to make today whether through ebooks or through print publishing, it is all good.
