Background Information

Ed Safdie's spa recipes were inspired by the food his chefs prepared at the Sonom Mission Inn & Spa (the inspiration for his first cookbook, Spa Food, published in 1985, and the Spa at Norwich Inn, which inspired his second cookbook, titled New Spa Food, which was published in 1990.
