I discovered reading "for fun" in the eighth grade when a friend recommended Cujo by Stephen King and have been hooked on King ever since. I also read the occasional science fiction and fantasy and it was after finishing the Dragonlance Chronicles and Legends trilogies by Weis & Hickman that I realized I wanted to be a writer when I grew up. Sadly, I waited twenty years before finally deciding to really try chasing that dream. I live in Omaha, NE with my wife and kids and have a day job in IT. My YA novel, Holy Fudgesicles, was published in 2015 and I have also published over twenty short stories. I run a blog and podcast at WriteGoodBooks.com, a site for new and aspiring writers and am also the owner and editor of Theme of Absence, an online magazine of fantasy, horror, and science fiction.
