I discovered reading "for fun" in the eighth grade when a friend recommended Cujo by Stephen King and have been hooked on King ever since. I also read the occasional science fiction and fantasy and it was after finishing the Dragonlance Chronicles and Legends trilogies by Weis & Hickman that I realized I wanted to be a writer when I grew up. Sadly, I waited twenty years before finally deciding to really try chasing that dream.
