I have always been interested in all areas of ancient history which led to my first book titled Legacy of the Gods. My second title Muhammad's Wrath came as a surprise to many who know me, due to the religious nature of the work, but I felt compelled to write it. Religion, much like politics, can be a very difficult and often problematic subject to write about. Muhammad's Wrath is an impartial look at Islamic literature that may be used by extremist and terrorist as inspiration to further their fanatical belief system which has lead to so much death and destruction throughout the world in recent years. Muhammad’s Wrath exhibits quotes from the Quran and Hadith that many non-Islamic people around the world find offensive, disturbing, threatening and violent. Many of the verses chosen for this book have been cited by extremist and terrorist as inspiration for a horrible act, or tools for promoting new members. There have been more than 30,700 deadly Islamic terrorist attacks since September 11, 2001. Why? Perhaps if we try to understand or at the very least acknowledge, what Islamic terrorist and extremist use as their motivational and inspirational literature we can discover a way to communicate with them before violence and war become their only perceived alternative. One of the hottest debated subjects in America today consists of Muslims ability to assimilate into non-Islamic Western cultures and still follow the rule of Islamic law set by the prophet Muhammad. See how the Quran and Hadith verses instruct Muslim behavior concerning non-believers and non-Islamic cultures. This book was not written as a tool to promote hate or prejudice against the Muslim people. I do not believe anyone should be denied their basic rights, such as freedom of religion. Nor, is it my intention to insinuate that all Muslims are extremist, terrorist, or violent. This book is based on my views and my opinions of the Islamic faith, drawn from personal interpretations of Islamic text and the Holy Quran.
