Background
Information
A high school and college level teacher for a few decades, I taught creative writing along with English, and created a website business selling Viking artifacts. It's no accident that I've finally decided to write historical fiction about the Viking Age. I did some proofing and modest editing for James L. Nelson, who gave some helpful feedback on my first novel. His novels and those of Robert Low and particularly those of Bernard Cornwell have been influences.
Accomplishments
I recently received a Chill With A Book reader award for Eadric And The Wolves.
Decades ago I was recognized as an "Outstanding Chicago Area Teacher" by the University of Chicago.
