Every morning I sit down at my desk and I spend time with beautiful, flawed characters of my own creation. The act of storytelling is joyful and intoxicating, challenging and otherworldly. I write until the characters stop talking to one another, and to me. I wake each morning itching to get back to them to learn what they will do next.
