I strive to create stories that are both pleasing as a tale, and also provide a variety of levels of interpretation, mystery, and fun, penning the type of novel you'll want to read, discuss with your friends, and then read again.
Major influences range from Capote to Wallace to Joyce to Salinger. With a healthy dose of Hardy, Vonnegut, and Danielewski thrown in for good measure.
