Her first book in the series, Balloon Man (True Adventure Series), describes the fascinating balloon flight of a scientist called Auguste Antoine Piccard. Piccard was Hergé's inspiration for Professor Cuthbert Calculus, a character made famous in the Tintin comic books. In the True Adventure Series of books she aims to make authentic tales of fearless and intrepid explorers, adventurers and entrepreneurs more available to the modern day reader.

Her second book 'The Best Edible Wild Plants in Britain' is a guide to some of the best foraging that can be found in our very own gardens. She believes in the three Fs - Forage From you Front door - FFF. Eating wild plants should be easy and she shows us how.
