Get Naked! Naked in the Rain is Debra Markowitz's debut novel. She is also the Nassau County Film Commissioner, Director of the Long Island International Film Expo, a producer, freelance writer, ghost writer, etc, etc, etc.


Background Information

Debra Markowitz is the Nassau County Film Commissioner, Director of the Long Island International Film Expo, Vice President of the Long Island Film/TV Foundation. She has acted, produced, written commercial scripts and ghost written novels for others. Because of her background in film and television, her books tend to be cimematic in nature, and very sexy.

Accomplishments

Debra Markowitz was named one of Power List (50 Long Islanders Who Control Our Lives) in 2002 by the Long Island Press. The Long Island Press named her one of the Fortune 52, Women of Distinction, in 2007. She was awarded the Women of Distinction Award by the NYS Assembly in 2007. Celebrate in Style named Debra "Something to Celebrate" in 2007 for her assisting filmmakers in bringing their independent films to the public.
