My name is Lisa Price Stevens,M.D. I have practiced internal medicine for over 11 years. Practing medicine has been a life long dream. As a published author, I have also pursued my passion, writin children's books. I have always been a advocate of Preventive Medicine. Unfortunately by the time many of my patient see me, the disease process in well underway. Many of the diseases I treated such as Diabetes, Heart Disease, and even some cancers could have been prevented with a healthy lifestyle. Unfortunately bad habits and unhealthy living can be inherited from our families just as much as the color of our eyes. The children's books are my way of making a difference in the lives of future generations. What's That?
