Children's illustrator and author Mary Jo Prado resides in Maryland with her beautiful teenage daughter and their adorable rescue kitty, Millie. Mary Jo loves to write, draw, garden, read (of course not all at one time!)
In 1978, She studied commercial art at the Professional Institute of Commercial Art in Pikesville, Maryland. Upon completion, she received a certificate in commercial art.
Mary Jo has a genuine interest and love for children's literature. She's won a place in the coveted Guideposts publication, "Expecting Miracles." She's also earned recognition on the prestigious Children's Come First website for several of her short stories. She's written, illustrated and published several children books. She loves to inspire children and make them smile.
