Major influences in my life are God and family. I had an identical twin in the UK and we were both learning this new technology together. One of 8 children my twin and I both became special need teachers and worked together on a series of books for beginner readers now publishe on my website (twincatreaders.com) which I finalised in 2017 as a triubte to her valued work. Sadly my twin died of cancer in 2010 and left a gaping raw wound in my side. But now I cherish her memories, photos and videos and the times we shared together. I look forward to greeting her again some day. My husband also later died of cancer in 2012. So my two best friends have now gone. My family are fequently away from me on the mainland and a whole new way of life had to be found. I choose to busy myself with community work and a lively bunch of friends, running a computer group for adult learners and learning to keep fit... Busy indeed!  Then home to a loving cat so  NO rest as they say....  September 2010 in the UK was awesome. We also spent time in Scotland and the autumn colours (so unlike our drab olive green gums) was a blaze of glory. In 2013 I sold my home of 40+ years to downsize and moved into a retirement village near by.

I have several awards from Poetry.com and am still writing poems when inspiration strikes.
