trip to the uk and caught by volcano chaos. Going to uk(Manchester) recently got caught in the chaos of a volcano errupting in Iceland. Thankfully a passenger near me in the lounge had a laptop so we sort of knew why all the flights were suddenly being cancelled. Thankfully I was flying with Emerites and they really looked after us.(Never could afford a hotel like the millenium...mmm7 stars???) and the food!!! The next hotel The Dubai Grand bosted a pool, spa, sauna, hot tub, gyn, restraunts and a free shuttle bus....we didn't have much money being in transit but we got to roam old Dubai market and the gokld centre and walk down The Crik....it was a wonderful experience especially when I finally got in touch with my family(good old Facebook!) and told them I was not sleeping at the airport. I finally flew into Manchester and was greeted by my twin when I got to her place...as there was a lot to do I needed that break!!!
