Information
I have been writing for most of my adult life, first as a journalist, then in PR and later as a freelance. Though I am British, as a creative writer I have probably been more influenced by American writers, such as Hemingway, Fitzgerald and Faulkner.
Accomplishments
My published and broadcast output includes plays, television comedy material, poetry, short fiction, a novel and non-fiction books on subjects as diverse as careers for the over-40s and Britain's treatment of enemy aliens in wartime. My educational background includes a PhD in History from London University.
