Hope that 2018 was a great year for you. If you are reading this, then you must be wondering what my latest update may be. The past week, I've published 2 new books. I've hit a bit of a dry spell recently and I've wandered away from writing. My muse has disappeared. Book #1 is: "The Starving Artist - Living with Gastroparesis" Gastroparesis is an incurable illness affecting the stomach and it's a horrible thing to have to live with. It can strike anyone at any time and for nearly any reason, yet, doctors know so little about it and some don't even know it exists. Gastroparesis translates literally into "stomach paralyzed" It's a slow, slow starvation when you cannot absorb your nutrients.  This book was inspired by a mix array of emotions knowing you are facing such a battle and no longer who you used to be. It contains personal quotes from a handful of sufferers as well as personal blogs and poetry by myself. Book #2 is: "Night Terrors"  This was a fun project that contains approx 30 different nightmares dreamed in recent years. Eighty pages of twisted reality and horrors that only a sleeping mind and piece together. I'm just a simple woman with poetic thoughts stuck in her head. I've told my share of blue collared jokes and held converstations with the most interesting folks and will continue to live until life finds me dead  

I've won numerous awards and have written many poems by request for readers all over the world.


I've also received "Civic Member of the Year" award from our local Chamber of Commerce as well as the "Samaritan Heart" award which is a community award within my small town.
