My first article was published in the Lutheran magazine, Scope. I attended the Christain Writers Conference in Wheaton, Ill , which gave me a broader view of writing.I have been published in Moody, Todays' Christian Woman and Mature Years. My partner Sue Donner and I wrote all the sketches for our television show Patches and Pockets that was produced at WTOL Toledo, Ohio, a CBS affliat.Our show was top rated and served the Toldeo and tri-state area for eighteen years. I have written devotionals for various publications and Living Well, devotional book published by Gospel Light. I enjoy writing inspirational messages that will encourage the reader. I am a jail chaplain and do ministry to women and also teach in a rehab mission. In 2005 I wrote Shira's Song with co-author Jan Saunders. This is a biblical fiction story of the bent over woman in the bible. In 2006 I wrote the second book called Shira's DAnce. I have written a newspaper column called Patchers of Life for the Glade Sun and the Vista in Crossville, Tenn.I presently write for the Glade Sun.

1985-Cleveland Emmy Awards, Patches and Pockets-Kids Have Rights ,Too.
1996-2007-State, National medals scoring first or second place in tennis,softball and basketball in Senior Games.
2006-Covenant Health Platinum Award recepient- A Tennessee award that denotes positive aging in all areas of life.
