My western books come from a love of westerns when I was a child, reading Zane Gray books with my parents. I've always been interested in the Amish way of life and have a chance to watch the Amish in Iowa so I decided to write a series about Amish - Nurse Hal Among The Amish. Because of my love of mysteries, I decided to try my hand at my own mystery series set in Historical Iowa. Amazing Gracie Mystery series. Plus there are other fictional books that were stories I wanted to tell. My books are written in 12 font to make them reader friendly and recently most of my books have been reprinted in Large Print. When I first started to write books, I wondered if I could. I was spurred on my my mother who loved to read. She said, "You can do anything you set your head to." Thanks Mom. Review of my books. I have read most of Fay's books. Fay has a variety of work. Some books are full of history and detail. Other books are funny and light hearted. Fay also has a mystery series that has wonderful characters solving all sorts of crimes. She has another series about an Amish family. These books are great books for fun filled relaxation.
