Webster’s dictionary defines a “Renaissance Man” as – a person who excels in a wide variety of subjects or fields. There isn’t a better description that fits Josef Burnett Cannon, for he is a published Author, Poet, Playwright & Screenwriter.  As an actor we have seen him on both the small and large screen as well as the stage. In 2017 Josef won "Best Supporting Actor" for his performance in the film RAGE.  He's currently filming the T.V. series "Cocaine Sisters"  while out promoting the Romantic Drama, "Full Love"  opposite Hollywood Legend, Jean-Claude Van Damme which premiered last May at the Cannes Film Festival and will be in theaters fall of 2022 and "Le Jour Du Pere", shot in Paris France was written and produced by Josef. As a writer/producer the upcoming project "Tortured Chicago" soon to be in pre-production, while "Christmas Grieve" which just recently concluded filming with a scheduled late 2022 release. His clothing line, CannonWear is flourishing, while his humanitarian efforts consist of him donating a major percentage of his profits from the line to Charity. In 2003 a new law in the United States entitled "The Synclair-Cannon Child Abduction Prevention Act,"  was passed in honor of his daughter Shelby Nicole Cannon and another missing child, Larry Synclair Jr. While being a member of  both Team H.O.P.E and The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children,  In 2007 we saw him named the National Spokesman for Identity Theft and narrator of thier recent awareness video.
