During more than twenty-five years managing small hotels and restaurants, I absorbed a huge amount of information, not only about the industry, but about human behavior. I access that material stored in my memory bank for writing mystery and suspense books based on my character, Eva Wynn-Rogers, for WOMEN of Undetermined age, and for ANNIKA AT WILDERNESS HOTEL, The Finnish Spies for GIRLS, 9 to 13. The second ANNIKA AT WILDERNESS HOTEL, THE INTRUDER, will be available in the spring of 2011. I was an adventurous child with friends of both sexes. Having been there, I can relate to my characters, ages 9 to 14, in my KANSAS CITY MARVELS series. The third, WHERE'S CARMINE? will be out by the summer of 2011. I am a self-taught writer of mystery and suspense, short stories, tragic poetry, screen plays, newspaper food columns, employee manuals, and real estate advertising. Im an eager learner of subjects that fire my imagination I'm a tapestry artist as well. I specialize in small and tiny handwoven tapestries, USING SOME OF THEM AS IMAGES FOR THE COVERS OF MY BOOKS SINCE 2009.  I have learned a great deal from online writing groups. I'm a member in good standing with the Ozark Writer's League.
