I started reflexology because my 2 year old son was deaf. After 3 weeks of  sessions he began to hear. I learned reflexology immediately and within a year he had perfect hearing. I have seen so many miracles since then! My daughter's scoliosis left, never to return. In the past 35 years, I have worked with people and animals with all sorts of discomforts and dis-eases. Their successes have been my sustenance. I found that in order to remember everything I learned, I had to share it. My original book, Touchpoint Reflexology The First Steps was published in 1985. I used it in my classes. Teaching is a way to educate the public. Books are a way to make that information permanent. I use both as a springboard to gather innovate and share more information. I have created several modalities such as 'chakras on the feet', 'meridians on the feet', 'energy work in ear reflexology', 'quick fixes for pain and stress', and my all time favourite, "Pawspoint Reflexology For Animals". Working with animals proves the effect of reflexology since your cat, dog or horse have no belief systems that would cause a placebo effect. They have no idea of what you are doing, so getting well is its own proof. This is also true for babies. They enjoy the touch but have no idea of its intent. My books are welcomed for their completeness, simplicity and down-to-earth quality. I use graphics liberally to explain what you do, how you do it. Although Reflexology uses energy medicine, I have been able to make the information grounded and real. Whether I am dealing with chakras, meridians on the feet, emotions and dis-ease, I make sure that you can understand exactly what I mean and use it within your belief system. I love my work as author, teacher and practitioner. I know that my practise is what spurs on the creative side. Without the reality of clients, my work would be empty. They feed me physically, spiritually, emotionally and intellectually.  

Since I update myself all the time, I have certification in Quantum Touch, Touch For Health (as instructor and practitioner), Emotional Freedom Technique (instructor as well), Three-In-One concepts (instructor), Vertical Reflexology Technique, Reiki Master, and a full complement of other classes.
I give presentations in the many colleges and universities for staff. I give presentations in the corporate field for staff requiring stress and pain relief, and my greatest achievement - my students are hired to work in hospitals in the Greater Vancouver district to perform Reflecxology on staff. What a breakthrough! I present in hospitals, but I prefer to leave the work to my former students - now colleagues.
