I relocated from Detroit, MI to Schuamburg, IL for growth and opportunites with my kids.  I will be releasing the second memoir in 2009.  I am also back in school to work on another masters degree in counseling with an ultimate goal to become a psychologist to assist abused children, teens, and women.   Growing up was very challenging as a child.  I was sexually abused by my father and mother’s boyfriend, which lead to low self-esteem, confidence and motivation to live during that time.  Experiencing abuse at a young age lead to premarital relations, pregnancy and becoming a single mother at age 17.  Going through all these adversities made me the person I am today.  I grew strong in my faith in GOD and left that old life behind and began a new life.  I finished a masters in business in 2007.  I also wrote and self-published my first book called "Shh..Don't Tell," which is the first of four memoirs that speak about the abuse I experienced.
