Once upon a time, under the guidance of a prominent psychotherapist, I decided to write an autobiographical account of an introverted kid who was brutalized by his alcoholic father.  But there was always a yearning to write something nice about a scatter-armed Dodger who was infuriating Los Angeles with his wild throws to first base.  Ipso met facto and the result was a therapeutic process in which my perspective was altered by understanding life through the eyes of a guy who had a supportive father.  The book had to be worthy of him.  Altering psychoanalysis was the only way to accomplish it.  Steve Sax overcame his problems and was a significant contributor to the Dodger team that won the 1988 World Series with me sitting in the stands for a memorable first game.  The saga is detailed at my web site, www.mystevesaxconnection.com.

Honored by Major League Baseball with inclusion of the book in the library of the National Baseball Hall of Fame. Traveled by car throughout the I-5, I-10 and I-95 corridors (west, south and northeast U.S.)to promote MY STEVE SAX CONNECTION. Appeared on more than 100 radio interview shows, including a five part series on WBAL/Baltimore.
