of the wild and the gentle beasts fed my writing spirit and Pearl Buck's tales of
distant cultures awakened a deep curiosity in me - planting seeds of wanderlust in my
soul.
As well as devouring the row of fat books on the library shelves my father a born
storyteller painted a creative palette for his children.with his colorful characters and
interesting tales of the land -& diverse people of the sierra valley we called home.
