This is the Book project closest to my heart. A memoir of growing up
Basque in a very Americanized culture in the 1950's.
This project has been in the works for a few years. I am still finding journal
Notes from long ago that can be stirred into the final soup.
It is often harder to write of those private experiences that lie so much
closer to the vest.
Yet they are most likely the most important stories we will tell as writers of our personal journeys. Giving our readers a front row seat to real life truth. and genuine drama.
It also serves as a sacred exercise in coming to understand the roots of our beginning. To truly know the deep Influences that set the way for who we
would become.
