I started writing poetry as therapy for my soul while i was caring for my mother, who had alzheimers. After she died the poetry stayed with me. It gave me an outlet for the tregedies I experienced with the death of my whole family.  Now it has grown into its own entity, it controls when i will write and what i will write, but i love every minute of it.  My style is my own and the material i come up with are traces of my growing up as a military brat traveling all over the us and europe, and the joys I now have in my life with the man I have always loved.  Growing up I was always looking in from the outside watching people and grasping life at its fullest. I saw the good, the bad, and the ugly.  My words reflect what i have seen what I have experienced and what I feel. It deals with the many events my life takes on and applies to everyone. I write from my heart and soul and i write all kinds of poetry to captivate the attention of my audience, and that also includes some poetry of the dark side. The words i write, i feel, That is who i am. I am a very private person, whose world revolves around what i see, hear, and feel. I dwell on my thoughts as words dance around in my head till the inspiration hits to write them down.  I read a lot of books, listen to a lot of classical music and play with my animals, I have one cat named velvet who has a personality all his own.  I will be adding a beautiful little collie puppy to our happy home in a months time,  that will complete my minagerie till i add my small aquarium of tropical fish, right now i have a terraium converted into a lovely litte swimming hole for my betta to show off in. I'm a simple person with a complex mind that goes everywhere, you never know where it will go....in fact....neither do I.    

I have published some poetry through the Taj Mahal Review in India, some anthologies from poetry forums online. On another forum my poetry has received numerous awards of various levels on recognition of my works.
