I grew up in a farming community where the Word of God played a major role in the shaping of the area and its people. I had an early fallout with the system when at the tender age of eight my little Jewish girlfriend died of a serious and sudden illness. On asking my Sunday School teacher if she had gone to heaven, and being informed that she could not have, as she was Jewish and had not accepted the Lord Jesus as her Personal Saviour, so incensed me that I had a stand-up argument with the teacher. Needless to say, I lost the encounter, with the result that my mother was requested not to send me back and my grandmother, a staunch old German "Frau" of noble descent, gave me a solid spanking.     This incident sparked a lifelong fascination in me on how the world and its systems work, the role of religion in world matters, who controls what, who owns what, the mechanics of war, and how all this impacts on society, and mostly, the life of the individual.     I am fascinated by the theory that we live in a "multiverse" (it makes so much sense, explains so many things that would otherwise be strange, and gives meaning to time) and what it implies, what it means to us as individuals and how it compacts on our daily lives.     My writing is thus on Politics (my published book "The Supreme Bloody Joker" and still unpublished "Gulliver"), Religion (my published book "The Jesus Parallel"), Fantasy (Middle Earth kind of thing, hence my soon-to-be-published "The Three Mirrors" trilogy) and Children's Stories (The Legend of the Crystal Kingdom - can be downloaded from my website www.ross4books.com opening middle of March 2010), as well as Business, hence my Self-Improvement program "Potential Awareness".     Global warming is a subject close to my heart. It appalls me to witness what we are doing to our habitat! All in the name of greed! It's  a vicious circle, one that will in the near future have alarming social ramifications as the poor get poorer and the rich richer. Unfortunately the climate changes global warming is bringing about will exacerbate this scenario to levels that in the future will become ungovernable.
