My past occupations--lawyer, playwright, and teacher--have one thing in common:  the English language. Having worked in the field of "modern" education and having observed the rather sad results thereof, I have developed a reactionary and revolutionary approach to the teaching of English, which I have codified in my new book, So You Think You Know English--A Guide to English for Those Who Think They Don't Need One. The book provides new methods of both inspiring students and instructing them. Either without the other is useless. In philosophical terms, I have never found a better guidepost than reason. My unauthorized autobiography, Wet Firecrackers, has just been published and is available through the publisher, Publishamerica, and on Amazon, Booksamillion.and other online booksellers.
