Although I have written poetry for 50 years, I never shared any of it until the past several years. I've never had any formal training in writing, except for honor English classes all through high school, but I have always been a fanatic about proper English usage, spelling, reading, etc. I read voraciously. Major influences? I'm not a *major influence* person.... (:D I've read poetry all my life. I write about feelings, events, love, family, nature, spirituality, fantasy and humour.... do all those subjects bring to mind one common thing? - Life!!

My poetry has been chosen for many first and other placements writings on many internet contests. I have several published books of poetry to my credit: a book of fantasy - Faeries, Dragons & Unicorns; a book of spirituality - Heaven Sent: Soul Food for the Eyes and Heart; an illustrated children's book - Does Heaven Have a Refrigerator?; a compilation of about 110 poems and over 100 photos - Moonbeams and Myst; and some booklets: Flights of Fantasy, Portraits of Poetry, Forget-Me-Not, and others.
