David has served as Pastor of Cannon Beach Community Church since 1993. He is married with three grown sons.

David received his B.A. in Comparative World Religion from University of Washington in 1979; his Master of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary in 1984; and his Doctor of Ministry from Fuller in 2009.
