Information
Volunteering at the Minnesota Zoo is what inspired the first book, Death Roll. I've always wanted to write about animals and the environment, but never felt qualified to set myself up as an expert and write articles for journals or magazines. But writing a piece of fiction, giving my protagonist my dream job as a zookeeper, was the perfect forum. When I mentioned the idea to a friend, Michael Allan Mallory, his enthusiasm was contagious and he became my co-author. Together we have now written two books in the series: Death Roll and Killer Instinct.
