Information
My en femme name is Romana Annette, and this is the only name I have ever been published under. This, this is now my legal name.
Two aspects contribute to make my life really different:
1. I have Asperger’s Syndrome, a high-functioning form of autism.I am continually becoming more socially-adept, and seldom sisplay Asperger tics any longer.
2. I am gender non-conforming, but sexually, a straight male.I live full-time as a transwoman.
I am spiritual, not religious, but I do regularly attend church.I am just a buddhist now. I mix and match everything.My ethnic heritage is Finnish and Native American (most likely Chippewa.) I currently live in Auburn, Washington, but I have also lived in Albuquerque, New Mexico and Lompoc, California.I am a Vietnam veteran.
I write science fiction and fantasy, often with a gender-bending and/or spiritual themes, but always exotic and full of twists.Recently, I have become very interested in philosophy.I now write philosophical essays with an obviously different viewpoint.
My favorite authors might be dated; after all, I was born during World War II and began reading during the 1950's.The authors with the most influence are probably L. Sprague DeCamp, Andre Norton, Murray Leinster, Theodore Sturgeon, and Arthur C. Clark. I am also influenced by classic and dated science fiction concepts.

Accomplishments
I have written a lot, but little has been published. Here are my published works:
"Transition into Skirts" (74) -- This book contains two stories (the title was not my choice):
(1)"Saturday Night at the Opera", about what happens when someone finds a bottle containing a real genie; and,
(2)"The Renegade", about a time machine and the discovery of a totally unexpected future.
"Barbara" (110) -- This is a trio of stories about the secret laboratory of Barbara Brier, known only to the government witness relocation program and a privileged few in the transgender community.
(1)"Halloween Surprise", about what happens to the boss when he shows up to work as his alter-ego,
(2)"Maria Returns", about how a mother gets her deceased daughter back, and
(3)"The Best Man for the Job is a Woman", about how an FBI agent uses really fantastic undercover skills.
"Vulcra and the Probe" (118)-- This is not the title I chose. This book consists of two stories:
(1) "Lara Conquers the Universe" (the correct title), which is the gender-bending version of "Flash Gordon"; and
(2) "The Probe", which deals with the unintended consequences of a probe sent back through time.
"Minerva" (320) -- About how a shy, introverted young man becomes a goddess to battle evil.
Additional Information
I am an applications and maintenance programmer. I am also experienced in web publishing and image processing.
My interests include computers, astronomy, dinosaurs, motion pictures, herepetology, audio/video, fantasy and science fiction, photography, eastern pholosophy, process philosophy, theoretical physics, cosmology, and religion.
My mind is wired differently, so I do not see the same reality as most other people.
I am a GLBT civil-rights activist, and I dress as I choose pretty much anywhere I want.
