Ever since I was little, I have enjoyed writing.  We all have our talents and forms of creative expression, and for me it seems to come with writing.  I love bringing characters, plots, settings, and details to life on the page of a book.  My genre is primarily action-romance, and I was influenced by many excellent authors.  My two favorites are Danielle Steel and Katherine Harvey (aka. Barbara Wood).  When I was younger, it was Judy Blume and Beverly Cleary.  I have so many different ideas that it is very common for me to change or twist my outlines and plots around.  I would love to write several books, and possibly even a series.  My life experiences definitely influence my style of writing, but I also like to challenge myself to bring characters to life who experience situations I have not necessarily experienced.  My current novel, "Betrayed in the Rockies" has been very exciting to write and I look forward to finishing it up and publishing it.  I hope you will enjoy it as much as I have!   I am always available to contact via email at:  kathleenbloomfield@ymail.com if you would like tips on writing or would just like to ask a question or comment.
