I am a retired marine with 20 years of service. When I retired, I went back to school and got my bachelor's degree in English/creative writing. Since then, I wrote freelance for two newspapers, was a contributing writer for Jazz News Magazine and was an associate editor for a small town newspaper. I belonged to the Southern California Writers Club and have had five books published through POD.

Information
I have been writing since I was 12-years-old. In each one of my books, I include the name of one of my teachers who found my love for writing. I have been going strong ever since then. It's just the drive in me that propells me to keep going, even after years of no succuss in professionally publishing short stories or novels. Writing is in my blood. Accomplishments
I won two short story contests and one poetry contest while in college. I have had two short stories published in Conceit Magazine and an honorable mention of another short story in another magazine.
