Poetry. Various urgent, lively, and sometimes haunting poems appear here alongside stark black and white photos of Jones' homeless subjects. Jones takes on the plight of the homeless in different voices, echoing the thoughts of people on the streets,
'Wherever you are is the entry point' (Kabir)
I am a seeker and teacher. I am also a psychologist, therapist, lecturer, trainer, shamanic practitioner and author, fusing the therapeutic with the spiritual, the contemporary with the ancient.
Background
Information
I am a psychologist and therapist, living in beautiful Devon, UK. My life so far has been exciting, challenging, and varied. I worked with thousands of clients, individually and in groups, was the course director of a therapy training institute and lectured and taught at Universities. I am also a spiritual seeker, having lived in Ashrams in Asia and apprenticed to Shamans in South America.
After a rather difficult childhood I turned myself inside out and upside down, building a life that feels worth living. I am blessed with a beautiful daughter, a loving husband and a community of friends on the path.
After writing countless course manuals and articles I have now written two successful books: "Shamanism and Spirituality in Therapeutic Practice' was published in 2012 by Jessica Kingsley Publishers and Shamanism: Awaken and Develop the Shamanic Force Within' was published this year at Hay House.
I now increasingly write, run trainign courses in shamanism for therapeutic professionals, speak at conferences and facilitate workshops internationally.
Accomplishments
Masters and PhD in Psychology. Diplomas in Family Counselling, Hypnotherapy and other qualifications in related fields.
I am quite sought after as an expert and speaker these days. My biggest achievement is that I live a life which seems to be worth while, helping, sharing, growing and teaching.
