I work in the automotive industry here in Alabama, where I live with my beautiful wife Jessica. I've been writing poetry on and off for about thirty years, it has always been a hobby for me but I'm very passonate about my writing. My poems are inspired by many aspects of life. Some express hurt and pain, others reflect love. I love and trust in God and some of my poems reflect that truth. I have spoken and various events, including, youth day programs. I find great inspiration in those who speak on equality. I love Dr Martin Luther King Jr, I enjoy hearing his speeches, they are very inspiring to me. At  the end of the day my desire is for my poetry to have a positive influence, to inspire those who read it, to somehow uplift people and make this world a better place in which to live.
