Born and raised in Austria, Inge H. Borg completed her language studies in London and Paris. Later (to continue her luency in French and for the experience itself), she worked for the French Embassy in Moscow during a political very trying time. After a Viennese company transferred her to Chicago, she worked on both coasts, loving Boston. Finally, after years as a permanent resident in beautiful San Diego, became a grateful US citizen. This country has been good to her and she continues to enjoy the diversity and freedom of this great country. Ms. Borg now lives in a diversified lake community in Arkansas (that's another story) where she continues to write historical and contemporary fiction. She also published a non-fiction book about her trials and tribulations as a "cat lady" at the local animal shelter that turned her into a dog lover. So far, she has published seven books, three of which belong to ther "Legends of the Winged Scarab" series, ranging from 3080 BC to a present-day thriller, followed by a dystopian, cataclysmic story. There is yet a fourth in that special writer's closet of her brain, rattling to come out. Her hobbies are world literature, opera, reading and writing (but no artithmatic!), and ocean sailing (sigh--no longer in the cards).    

Traveling and working around the world on her own since she was eighteen, Ms. Borg is still in touch with many of her past employers from wayyyy back. that is better than all the certificates of "language proficiency" tucked into a drawer.
