For my own reading pleasure I turn to the fantasy authors; Gemmell, Eddings, Tolkien and of course... Pratchett. Curiously my own writing seems to focus on more emotive work including venturing into literary work where a character may be transgender, gay, an angel, demon or anything between.

   My interest in writing was fired by a school that recognised my poor reading skills at the age of seven and arranged extra help for me. At eight I had the reading age of a six year old; by age ten I ahd the reading age of a fifteen year old. The extra tuition lit a fire within me that burns strong even now.

   I write for pleasure, I will always write for pleasure but the joy I get when I know one of my stories has been enjoyed, it's an incomparable sensation. Praise is my drug but rather than diminishing me, it pushes me to work harder.
