I grew up partly and attended elementary school in a village in the River Niger Delta area of West Africa. Nature is a strong part of life in a village, and the jungles was part of our activities' domain - i became a jungle expert and feels at home in a jungle; as a kid, learned how to swim in thick tropical forests' streams, hunting or trapping wild creatures with self-made traps, hunting birds with sling-shots. But part of growing up was spent in cities in Nigeria, and college too. This makes me know what life is like in a village and in a city - balanced. Then reading wide in the sciences (I am a mathematics book author, a graduate in a medical science field and an inventor of many inventions including a patented one) and the arts, including much of history of the world rounded up my understanding of life and the march of mankind from ancient days till date. But national and international politics and sociology today - I follow international news and events daily - makes me aware of what humankind can be up-to and the fact that our species is the most dangerous creature on earth - I understand wild life through experience and i see man in history and current world reports. The life and works of scientists strongly influenced my mindset and outlook. The writings of Arthur Conan Doyle (especially the Sherlock Holmes series) matured the spirit of observation I earlier developed in jungle trips. The literary use of words? John Milton, Percy Bysshe Shelley and Joseph Addison good influences among the classics. Hardly Chase series and John Grisham in our times too. Nobody likes to be bored; so I decided I will always write only engrossing books.
