Denise Murphy has been wriitng since childhood. As a young preteen she had issues with peer pressure as many young people experience with the growing pains of youth. Her sixth grade English teacher one day gave her a sage piece of advice. She told her. "Write it down don't act it out." Entering short story and poetry contest opened many doors that would one day start her on a career of writing.
Denise Murphy has written many articles for print and online publications including I love Cats Magazine. She is currently working on a new novel that is her first jaunt into the paranormal arena. She has published a suspense novel, a collection of short stories in memory of her late elder brother and a cookbook.
