Background Information

Original program designer and author Scot Fetherston is a veteran producer of educational seminars and programs. He also was a pack-a-day smoker for more than 25 years. After losing close friends and family members to cancer over a very short period of time, he was driven to quit smoking permanently. Using his researching background, Scot compiled a small library of information on cessation. This provided what he needed to learn in order to stop smoking. Next, with the help of his brother Mark Fetherston, a noted MB addictions counselor, the information was condensed into a 5-session program for the Canadian classroom. It was quickly determined that there was a huge demand for an accurate, affordable program, accessible to everyone and in 2002, they began offering the program as a 10-piece audio kit. The program's popularity grew, primarily through word-of-mouth and to this day, distribution of the kits continues on a global level, with a commitment to continued program development and annual study-findings updates. This book, “How to STOP SMOKING FOR GOOD in 5 Days” is a culmination of that 7 years work. It is a reworked, text version of the audio program, containing all the latest updates for 2007 and cut-outs of all the carry-along support tools.
