I was born in Moab, Utah, then I and her family moved to Glendive, Montana about the time I was three years of age. Even though I was born in Utah, both of my parents are from North Dakota. My mom, Jeanette, was born and raised in Tioga, North Dakota and my dad, John, was born and raised on a farm in Stoneview Township near McGregor, North Dakota. I have five siblings of which I am the youngest. Unfortunately my dad would lose his battle with cancer in October of 2001. I would also lose her mother earlier that year. I took up writing to fill the void that losing my parents had left. I needed a reason to live and I guess this is it. My favorite pass time is not just writing but I also enjoys drawing. I regularly bowls on a bowling league at the local ally, Glen Bowl Lanes. I am not the best on her team but I do enjoy Ladie's Night out. I also listens to a lot of music. My favorites can range anywhere from Yanni to Nickelback to Keith Urban. I was raised on it all. I have lived in Glendive most of my life and just loves looking out at the Badlands. I believes that they can be an inspiration to us all.
