She was quite capable of taking care of herself...She appreciated everything he was doing for her and the Grandmothers Four, but she needed his help, not for him to take over.
When I wrote ths book in 2000, I was concerned about children having access to the Internet and to chat rooms where "you can be anyone you want." Here we are many years later and the situation with children talking freely to stangers on the Internet
I live in the San Joaquin Valley, California. An enrolled member of State Recognized Texas Band of Yaqui Indians.
I write of family history and region.
I believe it is important to save our history for posterity for the upcoming generations to know.

Manny worked nine years as a Counselor in a Juvenile Detention Center 5 years as a Counselor in a Juvenile Sexual Offenders Group Home five Years in a Native American recovery center.
Manny is A member of the Black Wolf Gourd Honor Society member of Native American Church and Sundance's in South Dakota. Manny grew-up in central california in poverty. He holds an A.A. Degree in Social Science He continues to partake in Native Ceremonies and continues his writing. He works on hides and makes hand drums. Manny recently has done two book readings and signings. He is currently completing second book.
