When I was in my teens, I read every sci-fi, fantasy and mystery book my small town library had, but I wanted more. An only child, I spent a lot of time alone in my room with only my imagination for company, and started writing my own short fiction when I was thirteen. I hold a degree in mass communications from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin in West Texas.

In 2009, my business partner and I founded Gypsy Shadow Publishing. We celebrated our 7th anniversary in September, 2016 with close to 100 authors and over 250 eBooks.
